These concerts are held several times a year at the Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre (KNC), commencing 5pm on Sunday afternoons (hence they are sometimes referred to as Sunset Concerts).
Venue: The Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre (KNC) is a heritage-listed sandstone building (more detail) at 16-18 Fitzroy St, Kirribilli near the intersection with Jeffrey St.
Travel
Car: parking may be difficult and time should be allowed to walk from the car to
the KNC.
Rail: KNC is a 5-minute stroll from Milsons Point Railway Station; there
is a frequent rail service from Town Hall, and a 15-minute service from the North
Shore.
Ferry: Milsons Point Wharf is a short walk under Sydney Harbour Bridge to
the KNC. There is a ferry every half hour which takes five minutes from Circular
Quay and nine minutes from Balmain.
Volunteer to perform Members, if you have a group that would like to perform at Kirribilli, please contact the organiser (see Future concerts and use Membership Register for contact details). Don't feel inhibited by lack of time to prepare the whole of a multi-movement work; our audiences will be happy to hear part of a work, such as a single movement!
